On October 7, 2010, retired police officer, Bruce S. Cummings, died at Weiss Memorial Hospital.
After his death, the 62-year-old man's body was taken to the Cook County morgue, where his remains sat, unclaimed. Cummings had no family.
Before Cummings died, he was hospitalized. While at Weiss Memorial, a police officer recognized him. When the officer discovered Cummings had died, he contacted the police department.
On Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at 9 a.m., Bruce S. Cummings’ funeral will be held at Drake and Sons Funeral Home at 5303 North Western Avenue.

ReplyDeletei was just told that you passed away, i didn't want to belive it, i didn't belevie it. i'm sorry your gone but most of all I"m so sorry you had to go alone. it breaks my heart to thing that no one helped you in your time of need. how cruel am i for not tring harder to reach out to you i sorry i hope you can someday forgive me.
