Around 8:59 p.m., a man was run over by a CTA bus in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood.
The incident occurred at the intersection of West Division Street and North Pulaski Road.
According to police, the passenger was getting off the bus, when he slipped and fell underneath the vehicle. Reportedly, the bus ran over the man's leg; which police say is broken.
However, the details of the accident are not clear.
An officer on the scene described the injured CTA passenger's condition as "serious".
NOTE: Not long ago, a disabled man was run over and killed by a CTA bus, after he fell underneath the bus, while trying to flag the bus driver down.
