Man Shot in Austin Neighborhood: 4800 W. Jackson Blvd.

Police reported a shooting in the Austin neighborhood, after a gunshot victim was driven to a nearby hospital.
At 9:27 p.m., police announced that a patient at Loretto Hospital, 645 S. Central Ave., was being treated for a gunshot wound.
The shooting victim told police the crime occurred near the intersection of South Cicero Ave. and West Jackson Blvd. A subsequent report indicated the crime happened on the 4800 block of West Jackson Blvd.
According to police, there was blood evidence at that location.
No additional information is available.
