The search for Northern Illinois University student, Antinette "Toni" Keller, has taken a sad turn. Police found a body, believed to be Keller's in a Dekalb, Illinois park.
When she disappeared on October 14, 2010, Keller reportedly told her friends she was going for a walk in Prairie Park.
Police are no longer calling the search for the missing NIU student a missing persons investigation; instead, they are calling it a death investigation.
Police say the remains, as well as other item's possibly belonging to Keller, were in the park for "some time".
Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who loved this young lady.

This is why people shouldn't do stupid things like go to the woods all by themselves. Many people out there do this, and other stupid things (text while driving, go to late night parties in dangerous neighborhoods, go biking at night on the street wearing all black, etc.), and then cry when the inevitable happens.
ReplyDeleteIt's sad that we live in a world where none of us is really safe. This poor girl didn't deserve to be killed for walking in the park. God bless her, her family, and her friends.
