Today doesn’t seem like a good day to ride CTA.
Police were contacted after five men, described as African-American, were causing a disturbance on a CTA Green Line train. The men were harassing other passengers and attempting to smash the train’s windows, by repeatedly kicking them.
The incident occurred around 9 p.m. as the train approached the 51st Street “L” station at 319 East 51st Street. According to witnesses, the offenders were riding on car number 2460, which was said to the be second car.
No additional information was available.
