Chicago Police Sergeant’s (Alleged) Beating of Suspect at Columbia College Was Recorded?

Little by little, the facts are coming out.

Earlier this week, a man at a Columbia College dorm was allegedly beaten by a Chicago police sergeant, after police were called to break up a disturbance at a party.

The incident occurred at 2 East 8th Street, a college student housing complex in Chicago‘s South Loop.

According to several news sources, while officers were on the scene, a former resident of the building threw a bottle at police. Witnesses say the police sergeant took the man into a room and attacked him. When the man left the room, he was bloodied and bruised, say onlookers.

Okay. That’s the media’s version of events. Here’s what some very credible sources are saying.

According to information obtained by Chicago News Report, this incident not only involved a police sergeant, but 5 other police officers. We have been told the police sergeant instructed the officers to take the man into another room, and all 6 of them participated in the beating.

Our sources are also telling us that this entire incident was captured on POD (police observation device).

Furthermore, the police sergeant wasn’t the only officer to be stripped of his police duties. Everyone involved in this incident has been placed on desk duty.

  1. All that info is false I watched all of this happen. Only 3 cops and they beat him in the room that the party was happening in. Only one cop is suspended of his duty. Check your sources.

  2. Actually, noone watched this because I was beaten alone in the room. You are correct though, there were not 6 officers and the incident did take place in the same room. There was no beer bottle thrown at the police, there was only a beer can thrown down on the floor. That is the true story.
