15-year-old Girl Shot in Humboldt Park Drive-by Shooting

A teenager on Chicago’s northwest side, became the latest victim of a drive-by shooting.

On October 16, 2010, around 11:10 p.m., a 15-year-old girl on the 1400 block of North Washtenaw Ave., in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood, was shot at by a passing car.

The girl was walking down the street when the gunman opened fired. According to police, the gunshot victim was shot in the leg.

The teen was taken to Children’s Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
