Woman Robbed at Knifepoint in Lakeview

Belmont L Stop. Photo by Graham Garfield/www.Chicago-L.org.
4:42 am -- A female victim was allegedly robbed in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood.  The woman told police a man brandished a knife and stole her money.

The alleged offender was described as an African-American male with braided hair. He was last seen running toward the Belmont, Red Line “L” stop, located at 949 West Belmont.

According to one of my sources, there was a stabbing in Lakeview, yesterday. But my source was unable to provide me with details; and so far, none of the mainstream news outlets have picked up the story.

If you have more information on either of these events, please leave updated information in the comment section, or contact me at news@ChicagoNewsReport.com
