According to CBS2Chicago, a 21-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint on the 3100 block of South Eberhart Ave., in Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood.
On September 7, 2010, around 11 pm, the female victim was exiting her vehicle when two thieves approached her, brandished a gun, and ordered her to give them all of her "stuff". One of the assailants struck the woman, and both men took off, on foot, with her purse; which contained a computer notebook.
The victim was taken to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center and treated for her injuries.
CBS did not provide a description of the offenders.
NOTE: CBS needs to check the address of the crime scene (3100 block of South Eberhart Ave.). Going northbound, Eberhart Ave. ends at 60th Street, just before entering Washington Park. There is no 3100 South Eberhart Ave.
