Uptown: Man Robbed Near Foster and Broadway

4:47 am -- A citizen called 911 after he was allegedly robbed by a female and male suspect.

The robbery occurred on the 5100 block of North Broadway.  The victim told police he was on his way to work, when he was approached by the thieves.

So far, I have no information on the victim’s condition, or what was taken. And other than their sexes, there is no description of the offenders.

More News from Uptown:

At 5:12 am, another 911 call rolled in. This time, a man said he was stopped by a man driving a green pick up truck, in the vicinity of Sheridan and Montrose. The driver allegedly flashed a badge and a gun - then ordered the man to leave the area. The victim immediately called police.

Police ran the license plate provided by the caller, and the vehicle description did not match caller's description of the suspect's car. An officer on the scene said he canvassed the area, and couldn't find the caller or the man in the green truck.

When police tried to contact the 911 caller, their calls went to voice mail.
