Uptown Man Attacked at CTA Wilson Red Line "L" Stop

1:26 am -- 5 days after a woman was attacked at the CTA Wilson Red Line L stop, located at 4600 North Broadway, in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood; a man was reportedly "jumped" at the same location.

The motive for the attack is unknown.

The attacker is described as an African-American male in his 30's, 250 lbs, wearing a dark shirt and shorts.

I have no information on the victim's overall condition. However, he was able to walk several blocks to his home, where he called police.

An officer on the scene canvassed the area where the attack occurred and couldn't find anyone matching the suspect's description. At the time of my report, the officer was interviewing a CTA employee.
