12:11 am -- Several callers reported shots fired on the 6100 block of South Rockwell, in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood.
As many as 5 shots were heard.
Moments after 911 was contacted, a man flagged a police officer down, and informed him that someone had just shot at him. The man told the officer that the shooters fled the scene in a Green minivan.
According to the victim, there were 3 to 4 African-American male occupants inside the offending vehicle.
