2 Men Shot in Englewood: 6900 S. Loomis and 6900 S. Marshfield

Around 11:40 pm, 2 men were shot in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood.

One victim was found in an alley near the 6900 block of South Marshfield, and the second shooting victim was discovered near the 6900 block of South Loomis.

According to police, one man was shot in the leg and the other was shot in the left buttock. Both victims claimed they did not see the shooter.

However, according to an eyewitness, the shooter was described as an African-American male wearing all black. He was last seen headed southbound on the 6900 block of South Marshfield.

Police tracked the suspect to an abandoned building on the 7000 block of South Paulina, where officers say the man discarded his black sweatshirt. The suspect was believed to be hiding inside an abandoned property.
