Woman Struck by Car: 3121 West Irving Park Rd
2:16 am -- A police officer requested an ambulance for a woman who was lying in the street, unconscious; near 3121 West Irving Park Rd (Irving Park Road and Whipple Street).
At least three 911 calls were made. One caller indicated that a woman was lying unconscious in the street. Another said two cars were involved in an auto accident. The Chicago police officer on the scene, wasn’t sure if the woman was in a car accident, or if the woman had been knocked unconscious by her boyfriend/fiancĂ©.
Through a brief investigation, the officer determined that there was an auto accident at that location.
According to the victim‘s fiancĂ©, the car involved in the accident, fled east on Irving Park Road, and then south on Albany Avenue.
