Vicious Pit Bull on the Loose: Diversey and Southport

12:10 am --- A “vicious” pit bull was spotted in the area of Diversey and Southport, on Chicago’s north side.

When an officer on the scene approached the dog in his vehicle, the dog began to bark aggressively. Initially, the officer tried to locate a Taser. Then he asked if anyone had a capture noose. Neither could be found.

According to the officer, the dog was sitting on a porch at 2738 N Southport Ave.
