Person Shot at Plush Lounge: 1104 West Madison St.

UPDATE: The 25-year-old man who was shot in front of Plush, or inside the bar, died from his injuries. He was shot in the abdomen. The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A witness on the scene said she saw the possible shooter, flee the scene in a green automobile.

1:41 am -- Someone was shot at a West Loop bar and restaurant, this morning.

Police gave the address of 1061 West Madison, but when I looked up the address for Plush - it was listed at 1104 West Madison Street.

At this time, no one is custody.

  1. the shooting happened in the street in front of the bar, not in the bar. The bar is located at Madison & Aberdeen (1100 West)
there were at least 50-75 people in the street when it happened, so how NO ONE KNOWS who did it is beyond me. They were all standing around, yelling, running, gawking afterwards ~ I know because I live about 50 yards from where this happened

  2. Thanks for the update and clarifying where the young man was actually shot. I my heart goes out to his family and friends.

Based on the information I have, at least one person spoke with the police and provided leads.
