VIDEO: Rowdy Chicago Blackhawks fans attack CTA bus

A rambunctious group of Chicago Blackhawks fans were caught on video trying to topple a CTA bus.

The shameful incident occurred in Lakeview on the 3100 block of North Clark Street, near Clark and Fletcher, the night the Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Boston Bruins and won the Stanley Cup.

A defenseless # 22 Clark Street bus was attacked by a mob of testosterone-fueled hockey fans who tried to flip the bus over.

Before the mob could rock the bus off its wheels, a squad of horse-mounted police officers swooped in to save the day!

  2. You guys are idiots... 'defenseless bus'? Your attempts to rabble rouse are humorous. Its not just in this article but all of your posts. You try to make a minor issue into something major by using inflaming language and making up your own facts where there are questions.

Attempted to topple it over? Really? I saw them shaking it back and forth but not trying to pick it up on one side. You know how heavy those buses are and how low their center of gravity is because of the massive chassis?

Try getting out from time to time, meeting some real people in person, and letting the light of day shine on your skin instead of the overhead lights of your bomb shelter or 'prepper' shelter.

  3. If those were Occupiers, they would be blaming "agent provocateurs," but since they are just rowdy sports fans, I'm gonna go ahead and blame Occupy Chicago for this incident!

Occupy an occupation you fucking savages!!!

  5. 90% of the "fans" who attended Friday's rally couldn't describe "offside" if their lives depended on it.

I totally agree - this blog is always so full of hyperbole and the reaction to incidents are often written as if an 80 or 90 year old woman is responsible for it.
