The incident occurred around 2:38 p.m. outside the Dunkin Donuts at 4547 North Broadway, near Broadway and Wilson, said authorities.
A black male beggar wearing a brown or tan-colored trench coat, struck a man in the face after asking the man for money, said police.
Citing police dispatch reports, the violent bum, whose hair was styled in an Afro, fled the scene southbound... presumably on Broadway.
No further details are available.
Must be the fault of the Center on Halsted.

I want to see them right outside my front door when I leave so I can get that authentic "contact with real negroes" experience I never got in Douchewater, Ohio.
