Robbery near Lakewood-Balmoral, Andersonville border


Late Sunday evening, a victim was robbed on Chicago’s North Side, near the Lakewood-Balmoral, Andersonville neighborhood border, said police.

Citing police dispatch reports, the incident occurred around 9 p.m. at the corner of 5200 North Glenwood and 1400 West Foster Avenues.

A six-foot tall, black male suspect, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, approached the victim, implied he had a weapon and stole the victim’s cell phone, said police.

At the time of this report, no further details were available.
