Citing police dispatch reports, the incident occurred around 2:54 a.m. near the intersection of (2900) North Racine Avenue and (1200) West George Street.
Four males, with their mouths covered with T-shirts, robbed several victims of their cell phones and gold chains, said police.
The initial police dispatch report described all four offenders as black males.
However, subsequent information suggested at least one of the thieves is a Hispanic male who was wearing a black T-shirt with gold lettering on the front.
According to preliminary information, no weapons were seen during the robbery and there were no reports of any injuries.

What no comments on this? I'm not sure if that is good news or bad news. Its either good news, because possibly the security force (and the market days) is scaring away the criminals, or its bad news, because people have just accepted the fact that crime is now pervasive in Lakeview and people have given up on the neighborhood.

The fact the Eric Holder and Obama, refuse to do anything to stop the crime wave and attacks in lake view (and other areas of the country) shows that he doesnt deserve our votes. Lake view was destroyed under Obama's watch.

ReplyDeleteAgain, why can I witness a cop telling a black man "now get the F outta here!" after frisking him @ the 7-11 near the Red Line on Addison but they treat them with kid gloves @ the 7-11 on Halsted? Something/someone is holding them back there. It's not the cops fault. I'm sure they need the drug element and other forms of "trouble" to keep their businesses thriving but realize now it's gone a little too far even for their liking. Too late. Nobody wants to lose those tax $$ from the COH, I'm sure.
