Women robbed at gunpoint in Rogers Park

Early Sunday morning, two victims were robbed at gunpoint in Chicago’s Far North Side, Rogers Park neighborhood.

The armed robberies occurred around 12:30 a.m. near the corner of North Glenwood and West Greenleaf Avenues, said police.

Three black males in their 20s, one of them armed with a gun, took two purses from two different women, said police.

One suspect is bald. A second offender’s hair was styled in braids and he was wearing a red shirt. A definitive description of the third offender was not available.

Investigators said the thieves were last seen walking westbound on Greenleaf from Glenwood.

At 12:57 a.m., police stopped three possible suspects in front of J.B. Alberto’s Pizza at 1324 - 26  West Morse Avenue, but the victims failed to identify the subjects as the men who robbed them.

At the time of this report, the thugs were still at large.

  1. I wish one of these black animals would get shot by a vigilante. I am so tired of the constant black crime.
