Initially, authorities said the victim was driving through the 2700 or 2800 block of North Hoyne Avenue when someone in a white Impala fired multiple shots at the victim’s car.
However, upon further investigation, police listed the address of occurrence as 2739 North Hoyne Avenue.
Citing preliminary police dispatch reports, the victim was shot in both arms.
After the shooting, the victim drove to the 2600 block of North Leavitt Street, where he was met by police and paramedics.
The victim was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in unknown condition.
Although few details were available, one source said the shooting was possibly gang related and the Deuces street gang may be responsible for the violence.
"Impala". LOL. They turned these into run-of-the-mill FWD piles of trash built off of cheaper platforms but blacks in Chicago still think they're still "the whip" in these slightly larger Chevy Cavaliers. It's funny. I see these LARGE black women in these SMALL Impalas running their ghetto mouths on a cell phone thinking they're Queen LaQuifa or something in them. Marketing gimmick at it's best. Just like the white Apple accessories for the gays here.
