Man stabbed, cut in Boystown

A victim was stabbed with a box cutter in Chicago’s Boystown, Lakeview neighborhood, said police.

The incident occurred on the 800 block of West Aldine Street, between 5 a.m. and 5:29 a.m.

The victim was slashed on the arm with a box cutter and ran around the corner to Steamworks at 3246 North Halsted Street, for help, said police.

The offenders, four black males, one with dreadlocks, chased the victim inside the Boystown business… where one of the attackers dropped his weapon.

Police recovered a box cutter at the scene.

The victim was transported to Illinois Masonic Hospital in unknown condition.

NOTE: Although this incident was rumored to be a robbery, police classified it as an aggravated battery.

  2. Last summer the entire neighborhood got upset because one gangbanger stabbed another banger.
This year, not a peep even though people are being stabbed, cut, beaten and robbed by the southsiders.
    What gives?
