Tuesday evening, several shots were fired in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood, said police.
The shooting occurred on the 4400 block of North Malden Street, near Malden and Montrose, around 9:08 p.m.
Investigators said an eyewitness saw a tall male black, approximately 6'3", wearing a black jacket with red letters on the back, fire multiple shots.
After the shooting, the gunman walked eastbound from Malden, presumably, on Montrose.
As of 9:35 p.m., there were no reports of injuries or property damage due to alleged Uptown shooting.

ReplyDeleteUptown is becoming a very scary place to live. When I moved to Uptown in 1998 it was still sketchy. However it turned around from 2002 to 2006 with all of the new condos, townhouses, homes and development. However when the economy and housing market turned down unsavory elements moved back into Uptown. Now it's a freaking nightmare. At first I had an open mind and thought that these savages were just victims of chance, fate and they have a good heart. After running into them several times, getting my car broken into, my condo burglarized, I have a totally different view. This neighborhood is going to the dumps, no matter how many "positive loitering" we do.
ReplyDeleteThe problem anon march 14 6:18PM is the CHA scattered housing. We have to deat them. I hear a lot of people say oh we have a new alderman things will get better. No it won't CHA still owns buildings and the landlords love section 8.
ReplyDeleteThis is why we must:
Everyone write your reps/ senators/ and the republicans tell them the horrors of subsidised housing. Tell them of the failure of subsidised housing, how the people were supposed to assimilate into the rea but instead they turned it into the area they left. Tell them u want the HUD budget cut so that there is only enough for seniors, vets and people with mental and physical disabilities. This will force the CHA to reduce the number of vouchers and sell their buildings to private companies. The baby mamas who are the beneficiaries of subsidised housing have criminal relatives and boyfriends that target the area and they also live with them.
Section 8 and subsidised housing is funded federally not through the city(for those who didn't know). SO COMPLAINING TO THE CITY IS A WASTE OF TIME.
Everytime there is a budget battle contact them and tell them to cut the HUD BUDGET
if i see you white fucks in my hood your getting whooped for being racist. any white person. fuck it. get stabbed shot. oh its on
