Report: Chocolate thief hits downtown candy store

A crook with a serious sweet tooth stole 4 pounds of chocolate from a downtown Chicago candy store, according to police dispatch.

Around 3:31 p.m., someone, presumably an employee, reported a theft at Fanny Mae Fine Chocolates, 343 North Michigan Avenue.

The alleged offender was described as a male black with a dark complexion, about 5’9”, and 175 pounds.

The suspect, who was wearing an olive green jacket and dark-colored pants, was last seen going southbound on Michigan Avenue.

Since African Americans are prone to diabetes, and no one in their right mind would by candy from a random stranger on the street, we have no idea what the alleged thief is going to do with all that chocolate.

  2. Breaking News...

Black man arrested after he cons several Michigan Avenue tourists with the "I need money to get an asthma inhaler for my baby" scam.

Authorities reveal that the "baby" in the basket was nothing more than a 4 lb. block of chocolate.

  3. Sorry to say but this incident IS "normal" big city stuff. Calling somebody a "White MF'r", laying up all over the street on the same block, sitting out your "homeless" shift with your "humble" head down holding a sign but most obviously watching EVERY move the WORKERS make here - is NOT normal!

Whatever laws or ordinance you have, or do not have, in place Chicago - it's quite apparent these "homeless" people are allowed to "work" in shifts. I'm estimating it's about 5 hours. They then move on and the next one rolls in for their "shift". If you don't notice this, you're an absolute fool.

So what is the "time limit" they're ALLOWED to stay in one place under the law? It's somewhere between 4-5 hours.

P.S. the only one that gets deragatory comments from the "liberals" of all colors here is the Arab woman with the sign and 5 children that "lost her job". That one is a "liar" but if they're black, they're legit and "woe is me" will still be sympathized. Just an observation.

  7. You ever see "Skeletor" that sits on State and Madison? Got hisself a milk crate and parks his lazy, bony ass by Garrett, Chipotle or sometimes Panda Express. His routine is reaching out weakly going "Aww come on big man" like he's on the verge of death if he doesn't get some change.
Only the thought of jail is what keeps me from kicking a field goal with his head. People like that will never contribute an ounce of anything useful to society, all you social workers can go f*ck yourselves.

  8. There's one that works his shift at the Walgreens @ South Water/Mich Ave. too. He's so, sooooo proud of his big mouth. My co-worker (black female!) even called the police on him. He was back the next day. They know their "rights". He's going to mimick someone or say that one lil' wrong word to somebody one morning and it's going to be over with for him. You'll reaed about this one in the Trib somebody - no doubt. He really, really loves White men too. Never misses one with his "compliments" (doesn't compliment the females like THAT). Musta got some good stuff in the clink.
