Around 10:23 p.m., police were asked to meet an ambulance at Illinois Masonic Hospital, 836 West Wellington Avenue.
According to police dispatch, the ambulance was transporting an alleged robbery victim from The Ram Bookstore at 3511 North Halsted Street.
Investigators said the patient entered the adult bookstore around 5 p.m., fell unconscious, and woke up around 9:30 p.m.
Police said the victim believes he was drugged.
The Ram Bookstore was founded in 1977 and according to their Facebook page, they are "open late for you to cruise, dance, and play until the early-morning light!"
As festive as that sounds, some people have a different opinion of the longstanding Boystown business.
