Bryant Eugene Hunt was arrested Monday in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood after a 6-hour standoff on the 4600 block of North Broadway.

The 28-year-old South Bend, Indiana man was charged with the November 18, 2011 murder and attempted robbery of Dietrich Perkins in St. Joseph County.

Charges were also filed against 18-year-old Forest Lamar, Jr. and 20-year-old Sylvester Gamer.

  5. Say, is anyone policing this blog? The number of racist comments is outrageous. I suggest comments be moderated, as much of a nuisance as that may be. Thank you for the site.

  6. If you don't like the truthful comments, go to everyblock.com, they sugar coat the out of control crime on the North side.

  7. I'm just curious as to why they picked "Uptown" as a place of refuge. Something to ponder. Somebody made a snide remark that they were probably from Detroit. Wrong again.

But kudos to the authorities for taking them down (for those that do pay taxes in this city - you just got a bang for your buck).

And let the Trib "monitor" the Magnificent Mile crime.

  8. fuck you john trott

go to uptown update if you only want to read moderated comments

i would also say go to the trib or sun times blogs, but they tend to turn comments off on articles that might be controversial...

better yet, get your news from the 10pm nightly TV shows. you will only hear the opinions the media wants you to hear. that should be more to your liking...
