"On November 24, 2011, around 3:11 p.m., an unknown male climbed into a woman’s vehicle on the 3400 block of North Southport Avenue, near Southport and Roscoe, said police.
The offender tried to force the woman to drive him to a secondary location, but when the female victim started screaming at him, the offender stole a Blackberry cell phone from the car and fled the scene on foot, said police."

Subsequent news stories indicate the attempted North Side carjacking occurred near Southport and Eddy, while the female victim's husband was inside a nearby liquor store.
The mainstream media's account of the location of this crime is questionable, because the closest liquor in that area, that I know of, is at 3409 North Southport Avenue, near Southport and Roscoe; which is exactly where responding officers said the crime occurred.
According to authorities, the victim and her two daughters, 2 and 5-years-old, were parked in a Range Rover when Jefferson hopped into the family's SUV.
The family, who is from Mequon, Wisconsin, was visiting Chicago for the holidays.
What little information can be extracted from the alleged offender's online profile, in my opinion, makes him look tacky, delusional, and narcissistic.
The suspected thief described himself as a handsome "hood nigga" with lots of swagger. Jefferson also claims he loves children.
"u gotta love me, so handsome, swag crazy straight hood nigga love the kids," said the alleged punk who reportedly terrorized a woman and TWO SMALL CHILDREN.
Their "Day in the Sun" was only four years - and they fucked that up. Sunlight is the best disinfectant, and the world sees what the absolute maximum potential for these people will ever be.

ReplyDeleteWhen Reggie sees a Range Rover with the engine running he cannot help himself. He succumbs to genetics and goes for the car without even noticing the woman and children. He is as guilty of carjacking as I am guilty of scratching a mosquito bite.

ReplyDeleteA friend of mine was recently a near carjacking victim in New Jersey, by one of the Atlantic City casinos. He was sitting in a Jeep Grand Cherokee with the engine running when a nasty looking black guy opened the door, pointed a gun in his face & told him to start running away.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately for him, the gangster didn't realize that the new Jeep GC is keyless, and my friend had the keys in his pocket. The car continued to idle when he left, but bc the key also left, the thief couldn't shift it into gear.
My friend said it took the thief probably a minute to realize he wouldn't be able to use the car. By that time, my friend had already flagged down the armed casino security, which called the cops & surrounded the parking lot. End of story: dumbass black guy arrested, he had just made parole after 10 years behind bars for attempted murder, looks like he's going right back.
