Cops: Man robbed in Rogers Park had bleach thrown in his face

A male victim was injured in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood after a woman poured bleach in his eyes, said police.

At 2:12 p.m., police were notified that a man was stabbed in the head on the 7300 block of North Winchester Avenue, near Winchester and Fargo.

Additional information indicated the victim also had bleach poured in his eyes.

After a brief police investigation, responding officers determined the incident was related to a strong arm robbery.

Police said the thief stole close to $200 from the victim.

However, authorities said the victim was not stabbed in the head.

According to police, the victim, who had a liquid substance poured in face, sustained a minor head wound after the offender struck him with an unidentified object.

The female offender was described a black woman who goes by the name Candy.

Candy was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, a black and white jacket, and jeans.
