Unconfirmed: Robbery on CTA Red Line at Argyle


Argyle Red Line platform.
At 4:55 a.m., a man dialed 911 after he was reportedly robbed on the CTA Red Line.

The alleged victim said he was mugged when the train he was riding on pulled into the Argyle station at 1118 West Argyle Avenue.

The purported thieves were described as two male blacks.

One alleged offender had dreadlocks and the other man had a shaved head.

Both alleged suspects have dark complexions.

According to dispatch, the victim called police from the Starbucks at 2357 West Howard Street.

Officers arrived at the coffee shop around 5:03 a.m.

The alleged victim was not on scene.

No further details are available.

  6. I am always annoyed at the guy running around Argyle yelling "Loose Squares!" "Loose Squares!"
    I mean, he should probably be yelling "宽松正方形! 宽松正方形!" Or maybe "느슨한 사각! 느슨한 사각!"
    The amount of effort he puts into his little unlicensed business venture could be put into having a legitimate job, or looking for one. Why are people like this allowed to annoy the crap out of normal, law abiding individuals? Nobody is ashamed to be a piece of crap in this day and age anymore, all we teach in school is self esteem instead of reading, writing, math, science. Goodbye America, it was nice to know you.
