Man robbed, pushed down stairs at downtown subway station

Police are looking for three suspects who robbed and pushed a man down a stairwell at a CTA subway station.

The strong-arm robbery occurred on the 100 block of South State Street, near State and Adams, around 4:34 a.m.

The offenders were described as three male blacks, 20 to 25-years-old.

One assailant was wearing all black clothing, said police.

Investigators said the violent criminals stole hundreds of dollars from the victim.

After the robbery, the thieves fled westbound on Adams.

Police believe the offenders may have gone southbound on Dearborn from Adams, to the CTA Blue Line subway station at 328 South Dearborn Street.

The injured man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, 251 East Huron, for medical treatment.

  1. Often times criminals are cowards. I noticed the suspects were 3 black males.
Why are they so violent and dangerous?

  2. Because they are lacking something in their genes, lacking proper parenting, lacking an education, lacking humanity, lacking a conscience, lacking the ability to distinguish right from wrong and think the world owes them. I think that about covers it.

They are a part of the crack generation. A generation of savages with no mothers, fathers, morals, values, or common sense.
