The stabbing occurred at the Diversey Driving Range at 141 West Diversey Parkway, at the north end of Diversey Harbor, said police.
One man was stabbed multiple times in the back and another man was stabbed in the shoulder, said an officer at the scene.
The offenders were described as two male Hispanics in their twenties.
One attacker was wearing a white t-shirt.
The other suspect was wearing a black t-shirt, a fitted baseball cap, and shorts.
After the assault, the assailants ran westbound toward Sheridan Road.
The stabbing victims were taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, 836 West Wellington Avenue.
According to an officer at the scene, the victims were in stable condition.

ReplyDeleteAnonymous, it's my understanding that the victims were part of a group, hanging out in the area. One source said the offenders may have left the scene with a girlfriend of one of the victims. I don't think this was a robbery or an attempted robbery. It sounds like a disagreement almost turned deadly.
