The criminal sexual assault occurred Friday, July 8, 2011, around 3:30 a.m.
According to the community alert, a woman was grabbed from behind and threatened with violence, on the 6700 block of South Ashland Avenue.
An unknown black male suspect forced the woman against a wall and sexually assaulted.
The offender is 25 to 30-years-old, 5'11" to 6-feet-tall, 195 to 205 pounds, and has a dark complexion.
The alleged rapist was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black or dark gray shirt, blue jeans, and a square-shaped white jeweled earring in his right ear.

This man needs to lose the "family" jewels! Not sure what a woman is doing out by herself at 3:30 in the AM in that area.
ReplyDeleteNot that she needs an excuse to be anywhere at any hour, it's well known that people do come home from work at that hour- medical workers, hospitality and bar and nightclub workers.
ReplyDeleteWell that's true but it's not like we live in a respectful society either so women need to not be walking alone in unsavory areas at crazy hours and if they must, than they need to be carrying pepper spray or some other defensive weapon. Seems a knee shot to the "jewels" might have put this ghetto thug down!
