7:33 p.m. - A group of children between 10 to 13-years-old, were reportedly creating a disturbance on the 4500 block of North Malden Street, in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood.
One of the children, a male black wearing a short white t-shirt, was allegedly overheard saying he had a gun.
According to the complainant, the children were walking up and down West Sunnyside Avenue, between Malden and Beacon Streets.
Chicago police officers were on the scene around 7:33 p.m.
It's unclear if authorities made contact with the children.

7:41 p.m. - A man in Edgewater called the cops after his bicycle was reportedly stolen.
According to police dispatch, the victim was on the 6100 block of North Broadway when a male black offender, in the company of four other men, took his bike.
The suspects were last seen walking southbound towards the Walgreens at 6124 North Broadway.

8:29 p.m. - Police were called to an Edgewater neighborhood laundromat.
A male customer at Broadway Coin Laundry, 6028 North Broadway, said he was robbed.
According to the complainant, two black men stole his cell phone.
Police were on the scene around 8:33 p.m.

8:40 p.m. - A man described as an aggressive panhandler, was allegedly creating a disturbance in front of a Lakeview neighborhood convenience store.
According to the 911 caller, a 6-foot-tall black man was begging for money outside a 7-Eleven at 3700 North Broadway, near Broadway and Waveland.
When people refused to give the man money, he reportedly threatened them with violence, said the complainant.

8:55 p.m. - According to one citizen, a group of so-called gangbangers were disturbing the residents in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood.
A group of male blacks in white t-shirts, on the 4500 block of North Malden Street, were howling at the tops of their lungs, said the 911 caller.

10 p.m. - A Chicago cabdriver has been accused of stealing from a North Side gas station.
The driver of American Cab, number 5998, stole $50 worth of gas from the Mobile station at 2800 West Lawrence, said the complainant.
The cabby was last seen headed northbound on California Avenue.

ReplyDeleteWhy can't I easily find compiled statistics about what race commits what crimes? I know the data is out there. It seems that blacks commit most violent crime. Why can't I find the numbers to support or refute it?
ReplyDeleteI am grateful for this site. They say it like it is. I find out the true identity and description of the criminals and their crime on this site, not like the sugar coated desciptions we get in the news.
ReplyDelete@anonymous 521: I started going to CAPS meetings in my neighborhood. Cops hand out materials with captured criminals and their pics. From what I saw, in Edgewater/Aville/Uptown, 80%ish of the violent (defined as mugging, armed robbery, shooting, house break-ins, are black. Rest are spread white/latino. But, a portion of white/latino crimes are less serious to me...e.g. car breakins. One could argue cops are purposely reporting blacks, but my beat cops were black so I don't buy it. One could also say whites commit violent crimes, e.g. go to Joliet and you'll see it spread out more. But not in Chicago. Don't want to spread hate, but I call a spade a spade. And my friends of color say, I don't want that sh*t near me either.
ReplyDeleteOut of the hundreds of homeless people I've seen in my years in Chicago, very, very few of them are anything but black. That same amount of effort it takes to park their butt near Panda Express could have been spent at DHS to get $200+ in food stamps. And get on the waiting list for housing. And so on, and so on.

ReplyDeleteHomelessness is actually a "mental illness" problem; in a city that provides public housing and food stamps, only those that are truly mentally affected would eschew such options. In fact, their inability to function in modern society in a "normal" fashion is what disqualifies them from most homeless shelters. How to deal with their abnormal mental condition truly is the unwieldy problem that laudable charities are attempting to solve.
Your "homeless" peeps are "harmless" though. They have knives and pepper spray (check your "loop" stats. I mean all White men over 6' are "rich" ya know). They are black and have been victimized by society, continually, even with a black president - that's from Chicago.
