Robbery at Avondale neighborhood Subway restaurant
Police are investigating a robbery at an Avondale neighborhood restaurant.
The incident occurred at the Subway sandwich shop at 3207 West Diversey Avenue near Diversey and Kedzie.
The exact time of the robbery is unclear. However, it appears the crime happened around 11:46 a.m.
Authorities are looking for a black man with Band-Aids underneath his eyes.
He was last seen wearing a doo-rag, a button down shirt, and plaid shorts.
Witnesses said the thief fled the scene eastbound on Diversey.
No further details are available.
