Possible DUI driver hits parked cars in West Rogers Park


A driver, who was possibly under the influence of drugs or alcohol, hit several parked cars on Chicago’s North Side, said police.

The erratic driver was spotted late Wednesday night on the 7000 block of North Western Avenue, near Western and Lunt, around 11:21 p.m.

The car, which was traveling eastbound on Lunt Avenue, was missing a front wheel and dragging a bumper, said an eyewitness.

The vehicle was described a black, two-door convertible.

At approximately 11:26 p.m., police stopped the driver near the intersection of Ridge and Lunt.

According to authorities, the alleged DUI driver caused major damage to several parked cars.

At the time of this report, police were trying to locate the owners of the damaged vehicles.
