Possible burglar, prowler spotted in Lakeview


A woman home alone with her children, spotted a suspicious man standing on her patio.

The incident was reported at 9:40 p.m.

The suspected burglar, who fled from the 1500 block of West School Street, was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt with a hole in it and navy blue jeans.

He was described as a white man with "scraggly" light blond or gray hair.

The homeowner saw the man jump her fence and escape towards Belmont Avenue.

Police are investigating and residents should remain vigilant.
