Edwin Bankhead, 54, was arrested Wednesday, June 29, 2011, after he allegedly took an inappropriate picture of a 13-year-old girl's behind.

Bankhead, a convicted felon out on parole, was working as a security officer at the Taste of Chicago, when he took a photo of Hanna Fischer's buttocks, said authorities.

At the time of his arrest, Bankhead was in possession of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia, said police.

According to the Illinois Department of Corrections, Bankhead has a long history of retail theft and at least one conviction for illegal drug possession.

Bankhead was paroled on June 3, 2011.

  11. Hey, at least this one was "employed". Ya got 'em all OVER your streets Chicago (Evanston too). I think ya'll call them "homeless" here while they lick they lips at every skirt walking by.

In Detroit, they're considered a "public nuisance" and are promptly removed. Not the type to gossip or anything.....

  12. All security in the state is required to have a valid PERC issued by the state. There is more to this story: did this guy have a PERC, and if so how did he get it? If not, then who's the security contractor for the city that's hiring felons in violation of the statute?

    Heads should roll.

  13. IT bothers me that just because a person has a background as a felon, people expect for them not to actually try to change their lives or obtain appropriate employment. So he was not suppose to have a job!??? I mean that is why recidivism is so high.Did they ever find the picture of the young girl since she ALLEGEDLY says he snapped an behind shot. I mean damn, people trip me out.

Notwithstanding the dirty pic he may or may not have taken, this guy was found with drugs & paraphenelia ON HIM, WHILE WORKING AS A SECURITY GUARD AT THE CITY'S LARGEST PUBLIC EVENT. How is this changing his life at all???
