The shooting occurred on the 5700 block of West Higgins Avenue, near Higgins and Mango, on Chicago’s Northwest Side.
Some time around 8:29 p.m., several black or Hispanic male teens on bikes, approached the boy and shot him the face, said officials.
One of the offenders was wearing a light blue baseball cap with the letters “TC” written on the front.
Investigators believe the suspects, whom they say were involved in similar shootings in the area, may be hiding out at Dunham Park, 4638 North Melvina Avenue.
It sounds like the cops have an idea of who did it and maybe where to find them.
ReplyDeleteIts hard to draw any conclusions about any gang affiliation of the offenders because the TC hat represents the Minnesota Twins (Twin Cities)and is sold in many different colors, including the light blue that was mentioned.
Leave the 11 year olds alone.
