Belmont-Cragin neighborhood shooting


A man was shot in Chicago's Belmont-Cragin neighborhood Friday evening.

The shooting occurred around 8:20 p.m. on the 2000 block of North Laramie Avenue, near Laramie and Dickens, said police.

According to preliminary information, a man was shot in his side in front of 2037 North Laramie.

The shooter was described as a male Hispanic, 17 to 19-years-old.

He was last seen wearing a white shirt and black shorts.

At the time of this report, the shooting victim was said to be in stable condition.

No further details are available.
