Not only do they "assault" our sense of hearing with that awful banging, but now, if they don't get enough "donations" they're going to assault people period. I thought there was a law that they could no longer "beat their drums" around wrigley? What are they doing there then? Oops..I forgot, robbing people...the only "talent" they have and for sure they DON"T live around there!
ReplyDeleteWell, there goes your donations, dummies!
ReplyDeleteWith all the police in Wrigleville and a police station so close to the Addison Red Line, I find it quite strange that they were able to get away during the 7 o'clock hour. Oh well, thank God I followed my conscience to NEVER donate a damn thing to those filthy bastards! Compulsively beating on mop buckets is not talent anyway... I'd rather hear a autistic 3 year old bang on some pots 'n' pans instead.

ReplyDeleteDue to no fault of their own, it took the cops a while to get a good description of the offenders.

ReplyDeleteWow! Was the victim shaken up or something? "Bucket Boys" is a self-explanatory description. Lol
According to police, the victim was intoxicated. By the time cops were told the robbery suspects were "Bucket Boys", several minutes had passed. It took several more minutes to get a good description of the offenders.
ReplyDeleteThese "bucket boys" make a lot of noise downtown and on Michigan Ave with their banging away on plastic buckets and are always getting rousted by the cops as their noise has become unwelcome. What I find incredible is the idiocy of these tourists who gather to watch and take pictures.
ReplyDeleteWhere are these tourists from, anyway? They act as if they've never seen a genuine black person in the flesh and stand around with their mouths open as if they're seeing something amazing.
