Man held at gunpoint in North Side hallway

Two male Hispanic offenders forced a man into a North Side building at gunpoint, said police.

The incident, which was reported around 12:29 a.m., occurred in a hallway at 2742 West Granville in West Rogers Park.

One of the offenders ripped a chain/necklace off the victim’s neck, said police.

One suspect was wearing a black ski mask and the other criminal was wearing pantyhose over his head.

It's unclear if the incident was related to a robbery, or if the suspects were trying to get information from the victim.

Once source said the armed suspects may have been looking for someone who has ties to the complainant.
