Rogers Park: Police investigate robbery on Morse Ave.

Authorities are looking for two thieves who robbed a man of a day’s pay in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood.

According to police dispatch reports, around 9:53 p.m., a man was robbed at the intersection of West Morse and North Lakewood Avenues - which is approximately 1252 West Morse.

The thieves, who were described as two black men, stole the victim’s wallet containing $126.00.

One suspect is in his twenties, approximately 190 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black jacket.

The second offender is about 5’10” to 6-feet-tall, and 130 to 140 pounds. He was wearing a brown leather jacket.

After the robbery, both crooks fled the scene southbound on Lakewood, then disappeared in a nearby, west alley.

It’s unclear if any weapons were used during the crime.

No injuries were reported.

  1. The "descriptions" are all the same..."African-American wearing dark clothing"...There are thousands who fit that description and they will NEVER be caught. How about a "tattoo" or the type of shoes they were wearing? ANYTHING besides "dark clothing"!
