Toni Preckwinkle fights former Board President Todd Stroger's unemployment benefit claim

Toni Preckwinkle, the current Board President, is reportedly disputing former Cook County Board President Todd Stroger's unemployment benefit claim.

As Board President, Stroger earned $170,000 a year. If allowed to draw unemployment, he would get an estimated $530 a week, said a recent Chicago Sun-Times article.

Should Stroger's claim be denied, he has the right to appeal.

  4. OMG! HE wants to collect unemployment? Is this a joke? I understand he would get about $500 a WEEK! I hope the hell he doesn't get it. He's out of a job because he was a lousy employee! This man has some "big ones" that's for sure!
