Man struck by car in Lakeview

At 10:37 a.m., a pedestrian was struck by a car in Chicago’s North Side Lakeview community.

The man was hit near the intersection of North Lincoln and North Ashland Avenues; which is approximately 3100 North Ashland.

As of 11:03 a.m., there were no updates on the man’s condition.

It's unclear if the driver who struck the man, remained at the scene until police arrived.

  1. This is so pathetic! There is NO excuse for hitting a pedestrian, unless of course, the pedestrian walked right out into the cars path. Other than that, people who hit pedestrians should have their license suspended for at least 3 months.
