Fire at CTA Blue Line “L” station

A fire was reported at a North Side CTA station, around 4:19 a.m.

Smoke was seen coming from the Logan Square Blue Line station at 2610 North Milwaukee Avenue.

The smoke was generated by a “paper fire” at the Logan Square station’s west exit, said police.

At 4:41 a.m., the fire was still going. At that time, no service delays were posted on CTA’s website.

  1. A lot of "fires" on the train lines. Seems like more than there used to be. Thank the CTA for the buses:)

They could make a great diaster movie using the trains here:)
