Driver’s window shot out in North Park neighborhood

A vehicle driving through Chicago's North Park neighborhood, was struck by gunfire.

The driver was approaching Jersey Avenue, traveling westbound on Peterson, when he heard gunshots. The next thing he knew, his back window was shattered by a bullet, said police.

After the shooting, the driver pulled into the McDonald’s at 3241 West Peterson Avenue, where he called police.

The victim was not injured and no arrests have been made.

  1. why would you pullover if someone just fired a bullet and struck your car. wouldn't you get the hell out of there THEN call the cops? Why stick around for possibly more shots?
