Gun used in South Side grocery store robbery, beer run

Around 11 p.m., K & K Foods at 1130 West 51 Street was robbed at gunpoint

Apparently, two men, one Hispanic and an African-American, stole a 12-pack of beer from the grocer.

A third suspect, described as a white man, drove the getaway vehicle - a black four-door Nissan Pathfinder.

If you have any information on this crime, please contact the police.

  1. 2 people, a get away car and a gun for a 12 pack of beer? I see a joke coming on here, like the "how many people does it take to change a lightbulb" kinda jokes.

Again I say, if the south side wants to stop being a "food desert" than it needs to get their ghetto thugs in check otherwise, more stores will shut down and the south side doesn't have that many left.

  2. I published an article... I think a month ago... where three or four offenders, armed with a gun, stole $5 from a man.

  4. Anonymous, you forgot two obvious choices: they could have paid for the beer, or stayed home and sipped on a free glass of water.
