The robbery happened around 8:50 p.m., near the intersection of West Hood and North Damen Avenues; which is approximately 6100 North Damen Avenue.
Police police took a suspect into custody at 6103 North Seeley Avenue.
The second offender, who is still on the loose, was described as an African-American man in his thirties with a medium build. He is approximately 5’6” and was last seen wearing a black coat and a dark red or black hat.
According to an unconfirmed report, the offender may have fled to an apartment on the 6100 block of North Damen Avenue.
Authorities are still investigating.

Still, ANYONE who beats or robs an elderly person has NO respect, No conscience and NO morals. I take particular offense to the elderly & children becoming victims. And the only reason we're hearing about these crimes is because you are keeping us informed Timothy and doing the work the mainstream media should be doing. Otherwise, we wouldn't be hearing about these either.

Towanda, sometimes I wish I could do more to keep people informed. I hope my blog continues to grow, so more people will become aware of the crimes in their neighborhoods.
