Arrest Made at Wicker Park Nightclub

At 4:04 a.m., 911 received a call that a woman was attacked at a north side Wicker Park bar.

The incident took place at Evil Olive, 1515 West Division Street, near the intersection of Division and North Ashland Avenue.

When police arrived, there were two battery victims on the scene: a man and a woman. Contradictory to the initial 911 call, the woman appeared to be unharmed, but the male victim was bleeding and needed to be treated by paramedics.

But when the officer went to handcuff the offender, who was still on the scene, the injured man fled the area, leaving the female victim behind.

The injured man later called 911 from his apartment, stating he changed his mind and wanted to file a police report.

A motive for the attack was not disclosed.

On December 18, 2010, a gang related shooting took place outside the Evil Olive nightclub.

  1. Weird! Maybe the victim was afraid the guy would come after him again? Maybe HE started the fight? Bet the girlfriend or whatever she was to him, was pissed he left her there! can you say buckbuckbuck..

  2. The arresting officer was a little annoyed with the man, because he called for an ambulance and the man took off. Then when he gets home, he changes his mind about filing a report.

It's too cold outside for games.

    "buckbuckbuck" LMAO!

  4. If the offender is in cuffs, why leave the scene after an officer has ordered an ambulance for you? I don't get it.
